The Andhra Association of Queensland (AAQ) is a non-profit organization established in Australia by individuals from Andhra Pradesh (RAM JUNNURI & UMA CHILUKOTI) with a shared vision: to preserve and promote Andhra culture and heritage while connecting the broader Telugu community.
AAQ was born out of unforgettable love for our motherland and a deep desire to keep the name of Andhra Pradesh alive with pride and purpose. While other Indian states have established their cultural organizations across Australia, AAQ is the first dedicated Andhra association in the country, serving as a loyal tribute to our roots by its founding members.
Through AAQ, we strive to build more than just an association—we are building a legacy. A legacy of culture, community, and connection that will serve as a foundation for generations of Telugu Australians to come. Celebrate Andhra culture through events, festivals, and community programs.Educate our children and future generations about Andhra Pradesh’s rich traditions, arts, cuisine, and values.Inspire leadership in the younger generation by connecting them with their cultural identity.Create a sense of pride and belonging among Telugu-speaking families in Australia.
Together, let’s honor our heritage, celebrate our identity, and pass on the spirit of Andhra Pradesh to future generations in Australia.
