The Andhra Association of Queensland (AAQ) continues to lead the way in community enrichment with its Wellbeing Wing’s latest initiative – the Sports & Yoga Program held at the Australian Tamil Brisbane Community Centre (ATBC).
In an age where health and balance are essential for everyday living, the AAQ Wellbeing Wing has created a thoughtful blend of physical activity, mental wellness, and community bonding through this inclusive program.
The vision behind this initiative is simple yet powerful – to foster a healthier, more connected Telugu community in Queensland. Whether you’re a working professional seeking stress relief, a student in need of physical activity, or a parent looking to set a healthy example for your kids – this program is for everyone.
The yoga sessions focus on improving flexibility, strength, and mental clarity. Conducted by experienced yoga instructors, these classes are suitable for all age groups and fitness levels. From gentle asanas and pranayama to mindfulness and guided relaxation – each session helps participants connect with their inner self in a calm, welcoming environment.
In the sports segment, community members enjoy badminton, table tennis, cricket nets, volleyball, and other recreational activities. These sessions are not just about fitness—they’re about fun, friendships, and family bonding. Kids, youth, adults, and seniors alike participate with great enthusiasm, building a vibrant, healthy Telugu community.
What makes the AAQ Wellbeing Program special is its family-friendly and inclusive approach. Held at the accessible and well-equipped ATBC Hall, the program runs on weekends and is open to members of all backgrounds and fitness levels. It’s not just a workout—it’s a celebration of wellness and togetherness.
